Our challenge was to craft an interface that was as refined and innovative as the products themselves—marrying strategy and design to deliver a user experience that felt personable, meticulously detailed, and authentic. Process: Building on their 'Innovation' pillar, we began by conducting a lean analysis across their analytics channels, complemented by an in-depth review of competitor e-commerce experiences. This allowed us to establish a baseline of key characteristics, behaviours, and best practices, while also identifying areas for innovation within the luxury bedding market. Early on, we recognised the potential to truly cater to their premium audience and differentiate Bedsmade from competitors by emphasising a more 'tailored' experience. To achieve this, we introduced elements that conveyed a sense of customisation within the product selection process, designing features that elevated the overall experience, making the website feel effortless, intuitive, and uniquely bespoke for each visitor. This concept guided the entire design process, serving as a springboard for new ideas and features, all aimed at elevating each user’s journey while seamlessly guiding them through the conversion flow. This approach not only drove higher conversion rates but also fostered greater brand recognition.
